The Redmond Food Project runs through clearly defined roles. Choose the part that fits your time, availability, and level of involvement.
Food Donor
Best for: Anyone
Time: A few minutes every 2 months
- Receive a green bag
- Fill it with non-perishables
- Leave it out on collection day
Neighborhood Coordinator
Best for: Organized / community-minded people. Has access to a vehicle and ability to collect food donations
Time: 1–2 hours per pickup cycle
- Communicate with and manage a small group of homes
- Coordinate pickup day
- Help keep the system running smoothly
Collection Site Volunteer
Best for: People who want to be hands-on at St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry
Time: 2–3 hours on pickup day
- Unpack and sort food
- Process bags for reuse
- Up to 6 collection days each year
Support Team
Best for: Flexible availability
Time: Varies
